Environmental Engineers

Environmental engineers help keep our environment safe. Environmental engineers apply the principles of engineering and their knowledge of chemistry and biology to sole environmental problems.  They may be involved in the developing of:

  • water supply treatment systems,
  • air pollution control,
  • hazard waste management,
  • quality controls checks,
  • wildlife protection,
  • studies that attempt to minimize effects of global warming
